The Best Schooling Technique The teaching methodology is primarily, ‘Activity Based Learning’ so that the students are encouraged to grow and develop at their own pace and where each day is varied, stimulating, exciting and above all FUN! Our goal is to provide a holistic educational experience that is, rooted in promoting the spirit of enquiry, guided curiosity and collaborative experience. Pre-primary learning is imparted to the children in a conducive, stress free environment using play-way methodology. It is our vision that each child who comes through our door joins a community of children, families, and teachers engaged in the joy, work, and wonder of childhood. The wider the range of possibilities and experiences we offer children, the more intense will be their motivation and richer their personalities. The schools follows two modes of imparting education: a) Off-line mode and b) On-line mode.

Offline Medium of Teaching NKG, Varunapuri strictly believes in imparting education through Fun- learn and hands-on criteria of teaching. School is very well equipped with the teaching aids, props, charts modals and objects where children can touch-feel-see things for real so that they can associate them with the reality. All the the colour days are celebrated by not only showing colours to them but by asking them to dress up in the same colour, while teachers present the special assembly as well, based on the same. All the competitions are held after guiding, teaching and polishing the kids to be comfortable on stage that enhances their confidence. Audio -visual tool (Multimedia Room) is used to teach them morals, concepts etc through cartoons and animating stories. Playroom helps them to develop their gross motor skills and bond with their friends over some fun- tricycle -rides or maybe some fun on the trampoline. Library keeps them amazed with a lovely collection of books. Music teacher makes sure their "Sur-taal" is well on track by polishing their vocal cords on some fun tunes with the students. Art and Craft room helps them to explore the world of creativity under the guidance of art and craft teacher. Activity room is well equipped with the props with the help of which they learn the concepts very well .Hence with the efforts of all these facilities available in school we try our level best to extract the best out of a child being in Naval KG Goa.

Online Medium of Teaching Despite pandemic wrecking havoc across the globe education is one factor that managed to carve out a window for itself when all the possible doors were closed. Through ONLINE medium of education, NKG Goa managed to explore and materialize all the possibilities of imparting education through "bits and bytes". Google Meet took over when the concept of "chalk and duster" took a back seat. Very well planned videos of concepts acadamics and activities were shot by the teachers that made things easy for the parents to further help their children to keep up with the curriculum. Teachers used all the props, objects available at home and came out with very innovative teaching aids and idea so as to keep the children's attention grasped throughout - (keeping a three-year-old engaged on screen is a task !). Split syllabus was also created in an elaborate and crystal clear way in the form of PDF to be provided to the parents so that they could keep up with the work incase the class got missed. All the activities and competitions also took place without any glitch or hindrance due to the combined efforts of parents and teachers. All the competitions saw almost 100% participation. The energy, enthusiasm and excitement was worth appreciating. Teachers extended their untiring support when it came to guiding the parents as in how to go about preparing the child for the competitions. The effort of the teachers was commendable as they managed to come out of the inhibition of being exposed to screen and learning the technology (which was not everyone's cup of tea) which is the need of the hour. Kudos to all the efforts by everyone that made the education to make its way in the lives of our little ones when pandemic seemed to have closed all the possibilities but as they say - where there is a will, there is a way..!! and we are proud that we pulled it off with flying colours. The above stated things shaped from a "vision to practicality" due to the unprecedented vision of our HM who didn't falter even once in this journey.... kept us all together... kept guiding, polishing and extracted the best out of us (and that spoke the loudest when we delivered in Inter School fests by clinching the max prizes...)
